Apparently people should work for no wage and be grateful for the "job" according to some in this thread.

Edit: Same people would find nothing wrong here...
Same people who pay politicians to push through regulatory reforms that suit their financial ambitions usually.
Then they are completely puzzled/outraged when others wish to do the same.

I can stand much of it. Social compacts are compromises after all.
But when they attack science, when they attack natural conservation, and especially when they attack education - That is a very big line for me.

People who willfully engage in such I cannot abide. It is supremely unfair.

It's not over till Trump's final gross act of exchanging 100 pardons for open bribes and to protect himself from witness indemnification is complete, and he slinks out of the office in shame, following his failed coup attempt. Then there's still his impeachment and public prosecutions that are gonna start hammering him before the ink is wet on Biden's inauguration. The end credits are sometimes the best part of the movie.

100% its like a marvel movie where you wait for that scene in the middle of the credits.

People should ignore fake news, fake statistics.

Had they done so from Nov 3rd, perhaps the tragic events on the 6th of Jan could have been averted?
ignore the chance that your vote was overturned?

are you mad or just THAT complacent?

Generally, people that received most of the things due to being born in correct family want others to work hard.
I can deal with people who inherited privilege. And that's coming from somebody who was born into a financially struggling family.
Privilege is not a sin to me. If it was honestly gained originally (a rarity to be sure).
It's when they use said privilege to rig the system to benefit themselves even more and into perpetuity with no further real effort that I get annoyed.
They make the laws that suit them, but minimally constrain them, and then expect everybody they see as beneath them, who are by and large disadvantaged by said laws, to abide by it without complaint.

"stay away because covid"
"crowd-less election rallies because covid"
"locked in basement rather than bothering the slightest with any campaigning because covid"
"cancelled presidential debate because covid"
"mass mail in votes because covid"

convenient isn't it ...

The guy is a master. He won the election whilst having crowdless rallies in his basement.

The other guy must be feeling really schit, and his supporters really teary
