The big social media companies have already been dragged in front of congress after it became abundantly apparent that Russia DID IN FACT use social media to wage widespread propaganda campaigns in 2016 to destabilize US democracy. Often with their knowledge, or at least that of certain of their employees.
Freedom of speech does not in fact give you the right to say anything you please. This is a complete and utter fallacy.
You can speak you mind, but take a care to not harm others with your utterances when your statements are lacking in veracity. It is entirely possible to say things that you can be held legally accountable for.
For example Dominion is suing Krakaren for over a billion bucks purely because she sought to falsely harm their reputation.

Well at least since part of the Biden administration's ambitions is to revert some of the harm done to public education during the Trump regime, some of that poop might be turned into fertilizer.
