You didn't answer my question about why MAGA and Trump failed to make America great when they had their chance.
They were making it great again, until the China virus brought a screeching holt to recovery.

Job numbers were at an all time high.
People earned more.
Minorities had their lowest unemployment.
People paid less taxes.
Failing local industries flourished after losing market share to cheap imports.
etc etc ...

Covid-19 was the best gift to the Democrats.
When the virus is over, Biden's policies won't boost the U.S economy as promised.
Instead, they'll plunge it into further depression.

THEN, the people will realize how Trump's Republican policies were the right ones all along.
THEN the Democrats will be voted out again.

Just like all of the Democrats when Trump snatched the Oval Office from crooked Hillary.
The Democrats cried, kicked and screamed for 4 years. The Fake Russiagate hoax, the BS impeachment leading to nothing, the vote rigging, the left's social media and MSM censorship, etc.

We'd be fools to believe the Republicans will simply lie down and not launch their own revenge game over the coming years. There won't be any woke and united khumbaya moment for America.

America is the D.S.A (Divided States of America). It always has been since the civil war, and always will be.
Tell me about those pardons for Manafort, Stone, and Van Der Zwaan again... I mean how could they accept a pardon without an implicit admission of guilt to election crimes involving Russia and Wikileaks?

Oh, and your boys lost in 1865 *and* 2020.

Sucks to be you, huh?

While it would not be an issue that would swing my vote, someone who dismissed or undermined America's strong Judeo-Christian heritage would rightly be pilloried in the media. Every country has its rich tapestry of traditions and founding stories that a country is built on and for better or worse, much of the heritage is related to religion in the US.

Except it's actually not the religious aspect only crept in later

Well, I can't fault you for optimism in the face of overwhelming evidence that you are wholly incorrect.

Also: "halt"
If all you can do is debate reality and fix my spelling, please excuse me for not taking a word you type seriously.
The pendulum will swing, that's a given. As the arc between the widening ideological, racial and political worlds continue to grow (left vs. right), it's a given that political power with keep shifting from one side to another for a while yet. If I were living in the States I'd fully support carving the country up into two. Let each go their own way.

I looked up five of those names. Those pardons seem reasonable.

A Palm Beach County man serving a life sentence for selling two ounces of crack cocaine was one of 46 people whose federal prison terms were commuted Monday by President Barack Obama.

"President Obama just granted clemency to 46 men and women whose sentences didn't fit their crimes. Nearly all of these individuals would have already served their time and returned to society if they were convicted of the exact same crime today," the White House wrote in a tweet.

I.e. Trump did well when circumstances were favourable, but messed up when confronted with a crisis. Bush had 9/11, Obama had the recession, and Trump had Covid, which he kept downplaying, made mask wearing a political thing, promoted quack treatments, and opposed social distancing, and now his supporters are complaining that Covid ruined it for him. The fact is, Trump is a bad leader who simply didn't rise to the occasion when he was confronted with a crisis.

Not sure about that - the Protestant work ethic, as defined below - and is still part of the work culture in the US today, played - and continues to play - a huge part in American work culture. It was never obvious, for example, that in 1776, when America was founded, that it would be ever able to ever contest with the Great Powers.

The value attached to hard work, thrift, and efficiency in one's worldly calling, which, especially in the Calvinist view, were deemed signs of an individual's election, or eternal salvation.

I get that, but TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and reality television would like a word.

It was typical faux outrage from conservatives beholden to playing the victim.

Even Obama said Merry Christmas, despite suggestions to the contrary.

The Democrats are going to push their woke/revisionist agenda so far in the next 4 years and will pee of the majority.

Lol at thinking Biden is a progressive.

Trump and others are going to make life absolute hell for the Democrats going forward, especially if they win the majority in the Senate in the run-off election. They will effectively legally block Democrat legislation at every turn.

What position will Trump hold to make hell for the Democrats? There's a possibility he won't even have a Twitter account after the election.
