Wonder if the Orange Snollygoster will add further delay to the cheques insisting that his name appears on them, like he did last time.

House veto override may show Trump's grip on GOP slipping

Trump's dithering over the size of stimulus relief checks has cost suffering Americans a week of more generous unemployment -- but could also get them more generous relief checks. The gobsmacking part is he had the power all along to insist on larger checks and didn't, until it seemed too late. He drew a line in the sand against his own negotiators and got a few Republicans to cross it.

Forty-four House Republicans voted, after the President's badgering, to help Democrats approve more generous $2,000 Covid-19 relief checks. The party had rejected Democratic attempts to make the checks more generous before Christmas. It's not clear if the Senate, which is controlled by Republicans, will have a similar change of heart. For now, $600 relief checks are the law.

But Trump suffered a clear setback when more than 100 House Republicans, moments after approving the larger direct payments to Americans, voted for the first time to help Democrats override a Trump veto, passing the annual defense authorization over his objection and sending that, too, to the Senate.

Trump pressuring Pence to steal the election -- but legal experts say that can't work

image.jpg

President Donald Trump has sent strong signals that he expects Vice President Mike Pence to hand him re-election when Congress meets Jan. 6 to count Electoral College votes.

"His powers are ministerial, and that circumscribed role makes general sense: The whole point of an election is to let the people decide who will rule them. If an incumbent could simply maneuver to keep himself in office — after all, a maneuver to protect Mr. Trump also protects Mr. Pence — the most foundational precept of our government would be gravely undermined. In America, 'we the people,' not 'we, the vice president,' control our destiny."
Does Trump honestly think that such a move would just be accepted lying down?

What. Is. Wrong. With. That. Guy?

Trump spent his entire term ranting against fake media. Yet he now relies exclusively on fake news (not that he didn't before) to support his election fraud claims. He even generates his own fake news now. You can only LOL.

Funny how he says PA had 205k more votes than voters and that means he won. Not sure how the man's logic works. Hasn't he learned from all the money lost in manual recounts which just added to Biden lead?

Simply put. He abuses his power and should be thrown in jail.

Old enough to remember when draining the swamp was a reason folks backed Donnie...

And now we have the swamp alligators backing Trump up even when he already lost the election.
Lol. They really lead a lot of people around by their noses.

This...
"The State Department confirmed the sale in September but refused to identify the buyer or disclose the sale price of the sprawling beachfront compound"

... is everything anybody needs to know about Trump. They are literally not even allowed to withhold information like that when a request is made through official channels.

Sorry folks. You got conned into thinking Trump gave a rats @$$ about good, honest governance.
