Johannesburg braces itself for JMPD strike

Sure, but we will see if they behave themselves today. Their grievances have not been heard though, and I think those are complaints that all affect the general public. What are they supposed to do when nobody will listen to them and their bosses are the ones who are corrupt. Are you OK with having corruption in the department?

Actually, seeing as they are providing an essential service, they should not be able to strike as much as they want... with the current time period for this strike being "indefinite".

i say at least 99% of all metro officers in jhb are corrupt !
they ask for bribes these days ! ...

for the right amount any metro officer can be bought ! that is my opinion on them...

Atleast JHB City is doing something about it. Here in my little sh*tty city of Port Elizabeth, the Taxi operators hold the city up for Ransom. I mean cmon, what kind of a Weak city allows Taxis to take over the city. They hold up the entire N2. And now they have support from the Western Cape Operators. W T F has Cape town Taxis goto do with P.E?? They doing all this to oppose the Rapid Bus Transport system. Are they absolutely stupid enough to not realise this will do they whole city a good thing. As the days go by, So I loose all repsect for this pathetic little place that doesnt even deserver the name "city" behind its name. Oh and people dont get injured here, they Die!! For going on about there business going to work, taking a Bus instead. They end up really badly injured or dead. Truely sad.
