Lol :ROFL: Crazy people.... while at it, why not bring in the death penalty for corruption and theft of tax money....

Don't really see any issues with this, I'm sure someone will enlighten me shortly.
Also wondering about this. It might mean that there are specific laws and sentences that will be different in JHB. It can get kind of messy though like in America with 51 states all having their own rules.

Also it looks like he might be advocating private prisons - something that failed horribly in the USA.

I'm not saying that our current system is any better but it is possible for it to get even worse.

I doubt they would be looking at implementing different sentencing guidelines, since those are mandated by national law..
I think this is more about possibly streamlining the system for the lower end crimes and By law stuff.... since current Metro Police can only arrest and then have to hand it over to the national bodies.
