Jonah Lomu enters bodybuilding contest and plans comeback to rugby...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/rugby_union/8256247.stm

Lomu was the headline performer at the 1995 and 1999 World Cups but his brilliant career was cut short by kidney disease and he had a transplant in 2004.

Thought bodybuilders are prone to kidney issues...?:confused:

Why won't some sportsmen quit whilst ahead? Maradona, Michael Jordan, Paul Gascoigne, Mike Tyson, George Foreman et al.

Body building isn't bad for the kidneys rather the supplements one uses during the process of bodybuilding IE roids, creatine, Whey Protein etc etc etc

It depends if the transplant went well why would his kidney be weak?

Do they put weak kidney's in people when they do a transplant?

Jonah Lomu is legendary and I for one would hate to see him destroy that legend by coming back as mediocre...
