Had a *** time on tower 82 (randburg metro) and even 66 (hyde park) - the speeds are now up to 56k more or less, went down to un-usable/offline.

I've had one decent days connectivity since last Sunday - all the rest have averaged at 56k modem speeds down to nothing.

All I can say is thank god I'm on the 128k modem. If I was on 256k or 512k I'd be flippin' out by now !

I send and send and send e-mails and all i get is give us your signal strength bla bla bla WHY DO U NEED SIGNAL STRENGTH I AM CONNECTED MORON ITS GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!! I can tel you what has to do with it, its called bandwidth, say it with me you techincal grease up, b.a.n.d.w.i.d.t.h now go write it down and shove it that dumb ape CEO's ASS!

you have got to be kidding me....

i cant even send an email its sooooooo slow. about half way it just times out and says 'no response from smtp in 60seconds'

this is the worst it has EVER been.... it just slowly getting totally unusable.... to open this page a good two minutes

For myself, I'm on linksfield and its been its normal self today, fast last night/early am when no one was on, but now usual 25k ish speed.

Hmm when i am getting great speeds it seems others are suffering and vice versa. Could it be Sentech is shuffling the bandwidth around?

Hi, new member, just joined as a result of the frustration..

tower 110, horizon view. unusable since friday. getting download speeds of 1.2 !!! and this on a 256K package. i'm only a couple of hundred metres from the tower.

i have a ticket open, will follow it up.

where do i post suggestions on how to tackle this?

probably off the topic (please bear with me) but sentechs's speedtest never comes back to me. i have found some javascript test pages ec google, they work! please reply offline to me if u have any ideas.

tearing what's left of my hair out.... :-(
