I'm actualy using Webafrica Prepaid and need nearly 5 GIG per month

I will probably move to Telkom 3 GIG ( the bigger account they propose ). How much can you download before you are capped ??

Is telkom the only one that is not hard capped ?
 
Nope...not yet hold thumbs ... my last months two gig got to 19 gigs... but that was luck i suppose... cancelled my telkom accounts now though... so good luck :)

on 2 gig account you got 19!!! I got from a 3 gig account only 10!!! :mad:

and why on earth you cancelled?
 
Howmuch do u guys Average each month on a Telkom 3gig account?? ?? meaning minimum / max over 6months averaging ??

it is totally random :D
 
I have just been capped on my telkom 3 gig account. On the telkom usage tracker website it shows the following as I cannot get into the user stats site:- ADSL ONLINE TRACKING TOOL
Total usage for July : 9.7861 GB

Not sure if this shows the correct usage until I was cut off at round about 6pm this evening.

hope to see some other people post as well ...

anyone above the 9.something gigs and not capped yet?
 
Hi guys! Are there any tricks on how one can stretch the account before being capped, eg. not logging off etc? tx!

Dear subscriber

A friendly notification that according to our records your usage as at [2006-7-5 00:00:01] reflected the following:

Username: onlinexxxxxxx @dsl512telkomsa.net
Uploaded: 2.83GB
Downloaded: 9.04GB
Combined Total: 11.87GB
Service threshold: 3.00GB

In May my usage was 11.5554 GB
In June it was 12.5563 GB

now why *torrents* would anyone think *limewire* that I'll be up to some mischief?? :p

hey interesting, i cancelled my telkom acct months back and just re-applied for a new acct with them this month after reading all these fantastic stories of wonderfully "accomodating" telkom is. and of course I asked for my old email address back and guess what? ALL my old spams and telkom notifications from the previous acct are back! how cool is that??! :rolleyes: hey I wonder if i can still log on to my old acct?
