If this is true, it is pretty evil. This "mother" is screwing up her SON for life. He will never be the same. He will be permanently scarred. His father tried to save him, but as usual, the courts are biased against fathers, so what can he do?

This boy is being pushed into it by his mother - as some other quotes have shown.

I hope one day she can atone for what she has done, but I suspect not.

If you look at the toys that girls are interested in, they have disproportionately large and round heads with large eyes.

The market forces in the case with children's toys have perfectly figured out the biological preferences of girls and maxed them out completely.

You prove my point. Dolls are purposely made to be nonsexual. If you've ever undressed one you'd know. Cars and other boys' toys however are made with more curves that resemble the female form. This elicits a gratifying response but because girls care less about such a response they are more appease with being given toys that doesn't.

While you want to bring in nature as well most of that behaviour is learned. If you put a hand rared monkey bank into the wild it has no idea what to do to survive. It has to spend time with other monkeys first before it can be let loose. You are reading far too much into the idea that there is a natural preference.

But anyone who supports the rigid roles would support giving the child hormones. After all boys must all behave in exactly identical ways and like the same type of activities and toys. It follows then that any boy who likes things that only girls must like is therefore actually a girl.

But as I said the concept that humans are either purely masculine or purely feminine is obvious nonsense. Just as is the belief that parents have no influence.

Not knowing the details I don't know how his father treats him (e.g. forcing him to do "boy" things he doesn't want to do or preventing him from doing "girl" things he wants to do.), but the wait and see attitude is pretty much the right one for all children. However even today many parents struggle with that, because they still buy into the belief that there is a rigid divide and boys/girls shouldn't play with certain toys or take part in certain activities.

Even if he preferred wearing dresses and continued to do so it wouldn't make him a girl. He'd just be a boy with his own personality and the preferences that go with it. It is only the rigid idea that these clothes/toys/activities are for boys and those are for girls that leads to the thinking that a child who doesn't conform must be the wrong sex.
