... consider the car after a year, picked my 2008 polo for R100k loaded with factory options that would otherwise cost new R170k almost ...

the new shapes will be out soon, so i would not suggest getting the current shape now unless its older ...

in a nutshell dont get them so new ...

Having had several Polos and not losing any money on them, I could live with a couple of these!! :D

At the start of this year I had to get myself a car.

After working out a budget I also started looking at Polo's. In the end though, i bought a second hand Audi a3 2.0 sportback. Heres why:

1) a lot better to drive
2) cost less than a new polo 1.6 would
3) I bought it through audi preowned, which means it gets tested and comes with a 3 year motorplan on it, which you can renew when it expires
4) (if you really need another reason) after a year its book value will be more than that of a new polo :0

very happy so far :D

DUDE..don't buy something that had a Hilux engine in its boot...if he said "had 4 vibe subs and amps in" then it would have been worth a look!!!

hahahaha....

...but back to the topic, the new polo should be launched soon - so dealers will want to get rid of their excess stock pretty soon (this is if you want buy brand new), so you'll be able to score a decent deal

but why not look at the new fiesta or honda jazz?

VW fan here! (and Polo owner)

I don't like the new golfs, but this looks interesting!

Thanks!
