Sounds like you are in a serious mess... You should consult a lawyer for a professional opinion and not rely on the "free" advice here.

Lets wait for the replies first cos there are some smartpants on this forum.

Anyways interesting that you can get served because of facebook comments...

Its only defamation if what you have said is untrue. If you have posted something untrue then theoretically there is a case against you.

Then the defamed party needs to show they suffered a loss (financial, mental etc) otherwise what is a judge supposed to do? shout at you?

IANAL

EDIT: Quote removed because OP asked nicely.
But this isn't how forums should work.

Dude, why go on a social media rampage against someone? It's super passive-aggressive.
If you want to confront/have it out with someone, do it in person. Why subject everyone else to your issues?

You can and will get served if you slander somebody, or spread slander (even though it may seem to be "the truth" at that time).

Thanks. So say that a husband has left his wife to shack up with a new lady, and then the husbands wife calls the lady a mistress or something and gets taken to court over calling her a mistress.Who is going to win the case?

Removed at OPs request

Delete your account. It seems like it's caused you a lot of trouble and its something you turn to as an outlet when you are frustrated. It'll lead to more problems, delete it to show good faith and to prevent further problems.

Yeah once you Delete your Facebook, ALL comments ever made by you will be gone.

Once they other party has forgotten, just restore your account by logging in again. All comments will be restored but they wont be noticed... Unless they scroll back to that date.

It's only defamation if the statements are untrue...

If what you said was untrue, then trawl your accounts and delete the posts, if they were true... well I would be surprised if your "friend" really has the money to pursue this in court considering they won't get much out of you.
