Why should women be given the autonomy to murder at their sole discretion? If such decisions are none of my (or your) business then I guess we should be okay with this too?
Embryo, Speedster. Embryo or foetus.

Out of the womb is covered by law already... The charge would be murder, as you've usefully pointed out with your red herring.

"Well regulated militia". No one ever remembers the 'well regulated militia' part.

Yesterday the court ruled that states *can't* make laws if they're about guns, today it ruled that states *can* make laws if they're about abortion.

The SC is broken... It's a tool for Republican minority rule, and that's been the plan for the last 40 years.
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

So this does not affect me either way as a South African, but I believe the gun laws were based on the second part. Remember, the supreme court did not ban abortion, they just removed the federal laws and left it to states.

However, all this being said, I can't read "law" so I might be wrong, but that's how I understand it.

How can a baby defend itself? This has nothing to do with anyone controlling anyone else, that's a patently false statement. If you have a better suggestion how to protect those babies I'd love to hear it.
its not a baby, it can not be a human with out the host's body.
its a cluster of cells.

A baby/child is something that can survive without the host's body.

They are, which kinda makes a mockery of the whole 'constitution' argument.

Selectively picking which sentences suit your purpose and ignoring those that don't isn't constitutionalism or textualism... It's tribalism.

It was never a constitutional right. As in it isn't codified in the constitution as an amendment.

It was just legal precedent. (Judgement) that has now been rectified.

So presumably you'd argue for an abortion ban after 22 weeks?

Meanwhile you're *actually* arguing for the state forcing a 12 year-old who was raped and impregnated by her father to carry that child to term.

TX says 'hi', Arthur.
No, he's arguing that killing the child isn't a very good solution to the problem

Those acts are already illegal. The state has taken the necessary steps to try snd stop it and criminalized it.

In this case I'm in favour of the death penalty. Terminate the correct person.

Then the two of you should be front-and-center in the fight for free healthcare for all, paid maternity leave, free education, free school lunches... and don't even get me started on banning the automatic weapons that keep popping up to murder kids with in schools across the US.

Amirite?
