Spaghetti Monster help the USA if Trumpf gets in at the next election again.

The United States of Gilead will be a horrible place for normal rational people.

But he pwomised!

Went back a few pages and didn't see this (apologies if already posted)

I am of the belief that abortion should be a choice, but behaviour like the above doesn't help the case for abortion. It is a problem that people are making the decision so easily as taking a morning after pill or using it as an option if it fails or they forget to get it. Why not just use contraception options?

My guess. Some might be teenagers. Parents don't want their kids in birth control. Cause issues with hormones.

Just my guess .. reading reddit subs has shown many times how parents don't want kids to be sexually active etc.

edit: I'm shocked how many 18 years old in America live with a partner(s) etc. But that is a different story

They are. As mentioned numerous times on this thread, contraceptives can fail, mistakes can happen.

And a morning after pill is a contraceptive. Hence the name "emergency contraceptive".

Somehow I don't think they will have any problems meeting these demands....

The same adoption process that literally everyone who's tried has complained about being unnecessarily tediously long and expensive to get through.

So you're telling me they have little justification for not adopting other than it being inconvenient or not being able to afford it?

Incredible.

Another blatant case of good for thee and not for me BS.

You used the same argument to justify abortion. Because giving birth is just difficult and expensive.

In the case of adoption it is actually more valid.

Are you dumb?

How are they meant to adopt if they can't pay for the process to get the child?

Scale the wall and take them then go to jail?

The process is long, which causes the massive cost in part, to the cost already that one must pay to get the child in the first place.

If you can't afford to pay the inflated cost of the process, how do you get the child...?

According to this NYT article the minimum cost is $15k.

You're so full of kuk.

Forcing people to have a child they do not want and can't afford because "adoption" and then not adopting because you don't want to and cant afford it.

Stay classy.

Are you dumb?

How are they meant to have a baby if they can't pay for the process?

In the U.S., the average cost of a vaginal birth is $13,024 (R 207,747.-), including standard predelivery and postdelivery expenses such as facility fees and doctor fees. A cesarean section (C-section) is much more expensive, costing an average of $22,646 (R 361,341.-) including standard predelivery and postdelivery expenses.

That's just for the birth. What about nappies, baby formula, food, clothing, loss of income and and and?

The lifetime cost of raising a child born in 2022 could be estimated at $272,049 (R 4,388,612.-), excluding university.

Are you telling me that going into severe debt is irresponsible?

Holy fck. It's expensive because of the legal hoops set by government.

The point is that it shouldn't be. Adoption is an issue because of the government hoops you have to jump through.

Roll eyes all you want, but the fact that they rush out to get morning after pills because they may not be able to get an abortion is rather worrying.

But anyways I do love how leftists always go back to orphans.

"They should be killed otherwise they'd grow with hardship and be poor!"

Can we kill 90% of Africa? No.
