I'm predicting snow today - 1st time I think I agree with any of your posts. But the article does highlight just how absurd politics have become in the US.

It is magic how progressive courts create an exception to something as obvious as a right to life.

Exactly the same arguments were made in the US courts in the past on how slaves were not really people, therefore they don't have rights either.

It's like you only just realised 'human rights' are imaginary and nothing more than made up legal constructs which reflect the opinions of the government of the day and don't exist outside the current legal system of the time and place... :unsure:

Not really. I fully understand the difference between natural rights and legal rights.

Natural rights are the philosophical underpinnings of a free society.
Legal rights are the legal embodiment of those natural rights.

Natural rights are legal rights, they don't exists outside of the human imagination and the legal embodiment of those imaginary rights
