NEver Wow > studies :p haha. No but seriously its not that difficult dividing your time. I work now and i have ALOT less time than varsity and i still manage to get a couple of hours in.

Which varsity did you attend?

I was up until 1am every night working on projects/ studies/ math assignments / etc. During my diploma days, if I wasn't at tech 12hours a day I was working at the bar until 3am to pay for the studies.

The only time I had to see my friends was while working at said bar.

Rather scrap WoW all together mate, the little time you'll have left won't justify the amount you'll pay for it and you won't enjoy it either. If you cut down on WoW, you'll be cheating and staying "just another hour" ... and start failing classes that you fall asleep in.

Make an active decision to stop all together. If for nothing else, trust me on THIS one.

Studied at CTI and got a BSc... sounds like you had a rough varsity, my workload was pretty average even for honours year.. okay except for the project that was hectic.

I too have around 300 days played + many alts. This week I decided enough is enough.

To substitue I am now playing runes of magic, where everything is new, and funnily enough, I spend less time playing as it is going to take a while before I do high end content.

When u hit 30 or 40 years of age, what will u have to show for ur 400 days played? Not much I am afraid, the time u have in varsity, rather use that for ur studies, as thats whats going to make u a somebody later in life.

Lets see, I have a house, 2 cars, wife, 2 kids, 2 dogs and 6 months leave a year. :p

But seriously, your studies come first. There will be time and plenty of games later. Make your cash while you are young to avoid stressing about it when you are older. ;)

You have to remember that if there was a 'hours viewing tv addon' most ppl would find to their horror that they have spend a good chunk of their lives wasting away in front of the tv.

At the end of the day its what ever floats your boat, but manage it and keep a balance, even 2 wives!

So very true. TV offers no interaction on my part (except changing the channels during add breaks). At least in WoW I get to decide on a few things (Like whether to heal Staalbal or just let him die and WTF? me for giggles :D )

Sure there is a lot of rinse and repeat ala grinding to be done but at least I am interacting in some way. Plus I get to talk crap with other ppl in chat or over vent.
