Man, my other half keeps getting spam stuff sent (sms)to her.

WTF does this mean?
" ¾¯?´?Ò???B9eWma"

Shes had about 15 or so of them in the last 2 or 3 weeks.

Its coming from number 27820090000

Now I've complained on 2 occasions to vodacom, the 1st time i was told to goto to smscode, which lead me to waspa, and so i duly filled out the form on wednesday. Now this morning she got another sms so i phoned voda again and gave details and they sent back the following sms

Please bea dvised that there is no problem receiving sms messages please test your sim in another phone. 082111 Kind regards, Vodacom Customer Care (Linda Pillay (Matthews))

lol at bea.

lol at them not knowing what my problem is after i told them.

So i'm back to the drawing board. Do i need to phone voda for a 3rd time or can someone else suggest what i can do to block this annoying kuk.

Ok, then chances are that the messages are actually MMSes, which the phone is incapable of interpreting, and are being displayed as garbled SMSes.

Best to follow the advice you received from Vodacom Customer Care, by temporarily putting the SIM card into a phone that is MMS-capable, and take it from there.

OK, long story short - messages (mms'es) are coming from vodacom, and voda guy said he will cancel them cause phone doesnt read them.

Thankyou.
