Hi

Anybody know how I can track login attempts with my username on gmail and other google accounts?

Would like to see if any ne'er-do-well is trying to hack my account (which I'm suspecting is happening as gmail logged me out more than once)

Regards

Hi Libs,

Log into Gmail. Look right down the bottom there last 3 line on my gmail screen read:

Last account activity: 29 minutes ago at this IP (xxx.xxx.xxx...). Details
Gmail view: standard | turn off chat | turn off buzz | older contact manager | basic HTML Learn more
©2010 Google - Terms - Privacy Policy - Buzz Privacy Policy - Google Home
The details are clickable.

The screen that then opens looks a lil like this:

Activity on this account This feature provides information about the last activity on this mail account and any concurrent activity. Learn more

This account does not seem to be open in any other location. However, there may be sessions that have not been signed out.

Recent activity:
Access Type [ ? ]
(Browser, mobile, POP3, etc.) Location (IP address) [ ? ] Date/Time
(Displayed in your time zone)
Browser * South Africa (xxx.xxx.xxx....) 9:34 am (0 minutes ago)
Browser South Africa (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx....) 9:03 am (30 minutes ago)

It actually lists quite a long list history.

Have a great day!

No need to monitor it really.

It learns pretty quick where you are. If if a china IP logs in it puts up a big red banner next time you log in to say last login was dodge.
