So I went to KFC for lunch and thought to myself there has to be something I can do with the plastic container the meal came in . . .

I think it works pretty well - I need to refit the parchment paper so its smooth but overall I'm happy with the results. :)

lol, when I had the famous bowl I was thinking to myself as well how I could use the bowl as a sort of ring light. However, still have to make my DIY baking tin ring light. When I get around to it I'll post some pics

Impressive bwana. did you put some grease paper on the front of the container or is that part of the bowl?

Hmm . . I do have a spare baking tin lying around iirc . . :)

Whats the price of the

Compared to a regular diffuser?
The famous bowl was about r26 I think. Not sure how much a regular one would cost but I'm thinking more . . . and I would have been hungry :)

Its called parchment paper. I use it to line baking tins etc. You could use wax paper.

Looks interesting. How about a side-on view so we can see how you stuck it to the flash?

Sure. Just as soon as I can come up with a more elegant solution than a roughly carved hole in the back of it! :D

heh... if only he knew that he got the short end of the stick... did you share your chicken with him? Or is that the reason for the contented look on his face - admit it, the great shot had more to do with the cheeken than the filter lol...
