'24' return scoop: 13 episodes planned

With Kiefer Sutherland and Fox plotting the return of Jack Bauer, we’re hearing some additional details about the plan.

You already figured this out, but now we can say with certainty: Touch isn’t coming back for a third season. The mystical drama was shifted to Friday nights this season where it struggled in the ratings. Even without a 24 revival, it was considered pretty much dead in the water.

For 24 miniseries/limited series, we’re hearing Fox is actually currently looking at a 13-episode order for the show. For a cable series, that’s actually a full season (heck, for HBO’s Game of Thrones, it’s more than a full season). So that would be a pretty significant potential order to bring back Bauer.

Fox had no comment. Hopefully there will be clarity at the network’s upfront presentation Monday.

The first or second was ok but after that I stopped watching. The stories became weird, even the president was a terrorist at some stage or another :wtf:

Love 24. My best TV show to date.
The dude needs to get out of Touch and back to 24. Touch is ruining his rep.
 
I loved 24.

Though, by the last season it was wearing thin on me and I honestly never got round to watching the last 10 or so episodes.

Maybe one day.
 
I was dreaming abt another season the other Day... It is the best series ever!
 
Still haven't watched all of them. Need to make a plan to cross that of my todo list!!!

24 was terrible. Terrible acting. Terrible plot. Terrible dialogue. Terrible politics.
 
24 raised my standards in terms of tv series action thrillers. I watch less tv now because of 24. Hope they bring Jack back!

quite right. killing someone off in like the first 3 episodes, really throws the cat amongst the pigeons!!! Love it!!
