"Let me confess I enjoy the cigars, health spa and cognac. Very sophisticated and cultured, you might say……but I can’t even slaughter a cow without the SPCA and the police threatening to arrest me. But these rituals are part of what makes me a black".

He should try killing a troll or two.

Hmmmm....knorrig... tbh, I would be careful about the topic of your posts. Try and get a spread of things going, or get involved in lots of different topics.

But I'm glad the SPCA and the police threaten to arrest him for trying to slaughter a cow, we have strict laws regarding hygiene etc...

Yeah, you're right....we don't want to upset dear old Big Brother again, now do we?;)

I'll write something on Santa.

Its not just "Big Brother", we just have had problems before, and its definately better to err on the side of caution in that respect, do you not agree?

What makes him a troll? He posted a story and made a fair comment.

Funny that a new member with less than ten posts manages to start five new threads each with a definite political bent and has made numerous mention of a certain far right-wing website.

I'm sure that in these modern times, it should not be necessary to slaughter cows at home or have ritual mutie killings. I mean, really ... get with the times.

If you feel like cutting up a cow, go to a farm or slaughter house, and do it there, where you won't offend your neighbours or any small children (who just lost their pet named Trixie).

Just because this guy can't kill a cow in a suburb doesn't mean SA isn't free and it doesn't mean that anyone is trying to turn him white.

But there *are* practical considerations. Killing animals in high density areas? That's just asking for trouble. As a medical doctor he should know the health risks.

On the other hand, what the hell does the SPCA have to do with anything? As far as I know, slaughtering an animal happens by slashing its neck open. This is how they do it in the abatoire, and that's how people do it when they're culling an animal at home. We are a society that eats meat. It's ridiculous to have the SPCA go after an individual for doing what most everyone else pays someone else to do FOR them.

I think it is more an issue of ensuring that the animal doesn't suffer more than necessary. You don't want scene from "Me, myself and Irene" to replay itself.

And that makes him a troll how? So what, he has differing views from your own.

And since when is it against some rule to have a politically motivated reason for joining the forum? We are, after all, unified against Telkom, Icasa and the Government are we not?

If I thought it was against the rules I would have considered PM'ing a mod or something.

I'm just voicing my opinion.

There's a fine line between voicing your opinion and unfairly branding a new forumite. You crossed that line.

In your opinion.
I think theres more than enough evidence based on knorrigs few posts to show that he has a right-wing agenda and that he is using myadsl to promote it. In my opinion he is a troll.

There's not enough evidence that he is promoting his view using this forum. He started a few controversial threads. So what? Have you seen how many controversial threads and posts I have made? Am I a troll?

The guy comes on and from his first post starts promoting http://www.theconservativevoice.com a very far right site. Most of his threads have racial topic. Sorry there is nothing unfair in my labeling him.
No I haven't taken note of every thread you've started, but I'm assuming not every contribution to this forum so far has been motivated by your political views.

OK. To each his own. I will, however, reserve judgement on this .

Get a life Nick333.......seriously dude!

Don't be cowed into PC submission every time someone doesn't parrot Oprah.

I did refer to a 'right-wing' website in the USA, but this 'evil' site is just a very popular run-of-the-mill news site (852 ranking out of 55 million peer sites). I also referred to News24 which, as you know, is a very popular run-of-the-mill liberal news site here in SA.

My reference to the abovementioned sites is an example of a free-thinking individual reading different perspectives on certain issues, and then exercising his/her God/Darwin-given RIGHT to self-expression!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT?

...get a life mate!
Ignoring the baseless claim that News24 is liberal...

You have to admit that you've posted a few threads in a short time with more or less one theme in mind. You obviously have an axe to grind, and while that may not be bad in and of itself, your participation so far is marked with an agenda.

So the question really is : Why are you here? I'm not the only one who thinks you should participate on this forum in a broader sense, i.e. participate in or post new threads which are not part of the axe you're grinding.
