It turns out that nothing may have happened to Kim all along. I've done some research on North Korea during recent weeks and apparently South Korea is also known to make up BS claims and exaggerate North Korea stories, which western media then quotes.

I'm not defending NK in any way but the story that they sentenced their 2010 World Cup soccer players to hard labor, for instance, is most likely BS. Most of those players continued playing for the team after the world cup and some continued playing overseas.

The story that Kim fed his uncle to hungry dogs is also most likely BS though he did have his uncle killed.

All of this BS spread by South Korean and Western media does not really help to negotiate a peaceful compromise with NK.

North Korea severs communications with South as Kim’s sister takes center stage

North Korea announced Tuesday it was axing all communications with South Korea, a move analysts believe could be an attempt to manufacture a crisis and force concessions from its neighbor.

The decision carried further significance because it was attributed in part to Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who has risen in prominence in recent weeks.

North Korea said it was suspending contact in anger at activist defectors who have fled to the South and routinely fly balloons back over the border carrying propaganda leaflets.

Many experts suspect the underlying reason is an attempt to gain leverage in inter-Korean negotiations that have stalled since a series of high-profile summits in 2018.

During a meeting, Kim Yo Jong and another senior North Korean official, Kim Yong Chol, described South Korea as "the enemy."

Wonder if the Orange Dotard will also be best of friends with Rocket Man's sister?

From 'beautiful letters' to 'a dark nightmare': How Trump's North Korea gamble went bust
Now that the deal has collapsed, some experts expect North Korea to do something provocative in the fall to punish Trump during the political campaign.

The bit you chose to leave out:

[If America benefited at all from the outreach, Cha said, “it probably prevented Trump from stumbling into a war with North Korea.”]

**I see you have now gone so far as to change that avatar.
It's probably approaching the point wherein you should seek clinical intervention.
You are utterly consumed by trump.
Every solitary post of yours is Trump related to the point where you are no different to a gambling or meth addict unable to part with their obsession.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The Orange Dotard has provided Trevor Noah loads of material, daily.

Barack Obama once told Donald Trump, before he took office, that North Korea’s nuclear program would be his greatest challenge as president. “Well, that and learning to read,” joked Trevor Noah on the Daily Show, as Trump’s summit with the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, collapsed – lunch places still set – with no deal in place.

“Wow, you know something must have gone wrong when these two turn down lunch,” Noah observed.

The breakdown in talks is a far cry from how Trump described his relationship with the dictator on the campaign trail; in a speech from September of last year, Trump said that he and Kim got along well, wrote letters and had fallen in love.

That sounds weird, but it makes sense – Kim is “totally Donald Trump’s type. All of Trump’s best relationships are with people who are half his age and don’t speak English,”

For those so pitifully triggered by abundance of articles on their dear leader, mostly exposing him as a dumbass, he ensures that he is headline news on just about every major news source, including Faux News, every day.

A big thanks to Zapiro, that avatar did the trick.

That one is also good, as is all his work, but I'll stick with this one considering the "trigger" impact it's already achieved.

i can say i know of anyone triggered by it, in fact i cannot even recall any adverse comments related to it.
be that as it may, as an avatar, it still resembles a compulsive masturbator

Emergency meeting held in South Korea after Kim Jong Un's sister threatens military action
South Korean military "is maintaining resolute military readiness to respond to all situation,” the country's defense ministry said.

South Korea convened an emergency security meeting on Sunday after the sister of North Korea’s leader threatened military action against South Korea in the latest escalation of tensions between the two neighbors.

Kim Yo Jong, a trusted aide to her brother, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, said she would leave the right to take the next step of retaliation against South Korea to North Korea’s military in a statement carried by state news agency KCNA on Saturday.

Kim, who has gained new prominence in North Korea's power structure, did not specify what the next action could be, or when exactly it will be taken, but she added: “I feel it is high time to surely break with the South Korean authorities. We will soon take the next action.”

A spokesman for The Blue House, South Korea's presidential office, said Sunday that the country's national security council held an emergency video conference to review the situation on the Korean peninsula and to discuss how to best to respond.

The world should be more concerned with the rising tensions at the Sino-Indian border, and it seems the latest agreement between the two parties aren't holding up with China keeping themselves entrenched on the border. Escalations between North and South Korea will be a storm in a teacup compared to another skirmish between China and India which may escalate into an actual war.

Who should we be supporting? BRICS?
