Kodi + Afrihost - Blocking/Throttling

Hi,

Does anybody have any experience with Kodi and Afrihost throttling?
I have an Uncapped 10Mb account and no VPN.

My service is 'acceptable', but not really the best, (buffering and so on).

I was wondering if others have a better experience.

They are not throttling it as far as I know.

Thanks to the popularity of the Kodi media players, the servers are being overwhelmed, and you will see buffering every now and then, even on a 100Mb/s fibre connection.

One more question, If I am not downloading anything, (yet), can I just stick to the 'Free' account?
Will that improve things?

Or do I need the premium account for real benefits?

Why do you download when you can stream? That's the greatness of kodi. I even sold my HTPC and have extra HDD's becuase there's no need to dowload anymore.

I don't want to download anything, I am just wanting to make sure that I am using real-debrid properly.
It is not exactly clear what it does or if it is doing anything at all.

I'll try for a few days, to see if it does anything useful at all.
