The UK government's Digital Economy Act has finally received royal assent, meaning anyone caught sharing illegal files in the UK could now be imprisoned for up to 10 years.

Quite alarmist, IMHO. The possible penalty applies to sharing copyrighted contented not merely streaming it and, of course, Kodi is not the issue, it's the plugins.

Which is what most Kodi plugins don't do I share nothing.....
