Kodi streams are becoming horrific for me in peak times with Covenant. Alternatives?
I've gone back to Elysium. They are back. Downloads content just fine (I battle with streaming on my connection so prefer download now watch later). there are plenty sources out there hosting it.

If it's purely streaming (720p max) you want then try ShowBox Lite, or ShowBox if you also want torrent downloads. It's a sideload app rather than a kodi add on.

Covenant has limited peers and is heading in the same direction as Exodus; ie no stream providers on a decent quality for movies already off of the circuit. It will eventually die.

I've heard positive stories of people using Popcorn, but apparently it buffered quite a bit on their "uncapped" LTE.

Exodus still alive and well here...

Do you not struggle to find watchable content with active stream providers...damn...in what world am I living. :wtf:

Exodus not working well at all for me. Lousy streams, wrong episodes etc. Gave up on it

I installed Neptune rising last night, was working well.

On terrarium most of the Google cloud streams have disappeared. The other streams buffer a lot. Back to Netflix and downloading for me.

Go pay for Netflix then. Complaining about a free service smh.

Hang on boss, I actually have Netflix that I pay for. Definitely have no intent to complain.

I used to pay for Showmax, until it was thrown in, free of charge, on my DSTv subscription. Rather label me as a retard for having so many useless paid for subscriptions. :D

Oh, one more thing.

If you have a wife and/or kids, who likes to stream to the maximum extent and capability of your internet connection; consider using an app such as NetLimiter Pro.

This can be used to limit them streaming monsters.

This app is of course only applicable if you have an OS on the device you wish to limit applications for.

Alternatively use hardware device to limit actual devices...Mikrotiks are great and inexpensive for this, although I am sure there are others.

Or you could just go uncapped or at least 300gb/month.
I wanted to stream 12 Monkeys (1995) the other day. Nothing on Covenant or other Kodi add-ons.
Got a stream from terrarium but buffering was quite bad.

Ended up dl from yts in 720p. Is there no 1080p versions of this?

Irrespective of having uncapped internet, streaming tends to take up as much "internet speed" as it could find. Ie pulling the connection "dead". While I am then doing online work or online gaming, I end up with a very low portion of available "internet speed" to use.

ie, if I have a 20 Mbps DL, and streaming uses 19.9 Mbps of that, I sit with only 0.1 Mbps.

This means lag, or delay.

Thanks for the heads up on Neptune Rising. Been looking for an episode of NCIS for a while, and it got me a decent quality stream, in English, not Spanish.

ATM I have Exodus running and almost everything is available on one of the openload streams except Shield. So when the buffering stops I jump onto ShowBox lite and stream 720p.

Does Neptune Rising offer downloads like Exodus/Elysium/Covenant? I have buffering problems on my wireless internet so much prefer download now watch later.

Neptune Rising is a fork of Exodus/Covenant so looks and works pretty much the same. I found a 1080 stream yesterday that didn't buffer at all.

The terrarium interface has made me lazy to go to Kodi.

They need to upgrade

As I said earlier, I am very wary of loading apps from dodgy websites, so no terrarium for me.
So you don't have web protection?
Avast constantly reminds me when there's something dodgy. I love that woman.
