I have moved from Kodi using an amazon fire tv at the moment with great addons, also have an android box with great apks, Kodi has too many issues for me...there is a world of streaming waiting and my content range is so huge now i really do not know where to start or end...it is simply extraordinary...VPN essential

I found terrarium clumsy to use compared to Kodi. And now that I've sorted out my LIT's network performance, Kodi+Real Debrid is giving me all the 1080p DD+ goodness I need

No, auto update is disabled.

I did have an initial problem syncing my favs and watched. So on the 1.8.3 box I did a backup and then used those files to restore in 1.8.5. I then made changes on both boxes and they synced.

So definitely backup your sets, favs and watched. Make a copy of the folder, uninstall old version and install new version. Then restore. Simple.

1.8.5 does download fine. I have done some files and watched them. Have found nothing noticeably different other than the player options.

I will attempt a straight uninstall of 1.8.3 and install of 1.8.5 and see if settings are maintained. But only after a backup!

I must say i was a diehard Kodi add-on fan until I tried Terrarium. Now it's not contest. For getting content that is. So much easier.

Just installed Terrarium 1.8.5. It then prompted me to update to 1.8.6, which I did. It's not ad free but it works! Also installed the PTV Sports app. Amazing! What can we use for just movies? Terrarium seems it's just for TV shows.
