So the first guy killed was a convicted child molester and violent criminal.........how are people supposed to find sympathy with him?

All those shot were confirmed and convicted criminals. These riots tend to attract these sorts in our society. Most of them are not there for anything but to look for, cause chaos, damage property and set things on fire. And, I am not talking about legit protestors. I am talking about those scum that run around clad in riot gear, incite looting and cause harm.

And people are mad because people want to start defending their communities from them.

Yeah well, precisely. You had a near-dwarf convicted of molesting children, clearly a social problem to society at large, and children, and the prosecution is trying to make out as if he was an innocent party. Never mind he threatened to kill people and would probably have killed this guy who shot him.

Society is better off to be honest.

It's not often that you get such clear irrefutable evidence that leftism is in fact a viral brain disease...

While entertaining, I think it's more than that.
This should be poked and prodded by psychiatry for years to come... whatever mental image is buried in that line is clearly catnip for stupid people.

Very interesting livestream of the case.

They make an interesting point around 2h:13m about what the state was saying as to the motivations of the three guys who got shot. The state claimed that they were attempting to stop Kyle as they believed he was an "active shooter", which effectively means that they were trying to perform a citizen's arrest. Which means that they would need probable cause that Kyle was indeed committing a crime if you were to apply the same sorts of legal standard as is being applied in the Arbery case. If they don't have a probable cause, they were committing a felony by trying to arrest Kyle.
