The goods were returned lock stock and barrel, the municipality wouldn't have done that if they had any legal right to the goods.
I wouldn't openly say it was the anc but its clear some elements in the muni were trying to get their hands on the goods for whatever reason.
Yeah, no idea what happened and why the goods were returned, but sometimes a situation should be de-escalated, regardless of who has legal rights.
Plus returning stolen goods doesn't mean a crime was not committed so if we were to believe the story it would mean eThekwini municipality working in cahoots with SAPS stole the goods, calmly returned them and everything was forgiven, which sounds very absurd.
