Pleasing to see small steps in the right direction.

KZN Health MEC and a BEE company director arrested

KwaZulu-Natal Health MEC Neliswa Peggy Nkonyeni was arrested on Wednesday and told that she would remain in custody until bail of R10 000 was paid.

She appeared in the Pietermaritzburg Regional Court with accused Lindelihle Mkhwanazi, owner of Rowmoor Investments, a company which won a R1.5m tender from the health department.

He and a third accused, Mduduzi Ntshangase, both of Richards Bay, were also granted bail of R10 000.

The case was adjourned to January 22 for further investigation.

Mammogram machine

Scorpions investigator Clarence Jones alleged in an affidavit that Rowmoor charged the department R1.5m for a mammogram machine - used to scan for breast cancer - which could have been bought for R425 000.

Neliswa Peggy Nkonyeni, the country would be a better place without this crackpot in office.
Wonder how many people have died as a direct result of her stance on the fight against AIDS, which is even more warped than that of Dr Beetroot.

Barbara Hogan, lol, the more things change the more they stay the same.

Sadly the Scorpions will soon be no more, and then all these cases will be [-]handled[/-] bungled by the SAPS instead.

Don't for a minute think anything will come of this. She is a member of the 'rogues clan'. Will probably be awarded a big screen TV and retire on full pay. Either that or be promoted to a more responsible position where she can cause greater havoc. This is the way of the ANC 'govmint'

As long as she is no longer in control of the Health department in KZN... She caused immense damage with her little hiffy fits and getting one of our very best doctors suspended because he threw a picture of her in the bin....

Man the woman inherited a pile a shyte. It will remain a pile of shyte for loooooooooooong time yet, and also, because of ANC rule, being a pile of shyte themselves......... i suppose doesnt help the situation.

I think they showed of picture on telly of this Neliswa Peggy Nkonyeni in court - looking all smug and sure of herself - lol.
