Lindsay Myeni, who is preparing for legal action against Honolulu police after the death of her husband Lindani Myeni, says that in the last hours of his life he sought spiritual protection, displayed erratic behaviour and told her he had seen the graves of his ancestors.
She says she later came to realise that this had been a premonition of his death...
Why is she preparing legal action if this was the will of his ancestors that he will die? Won't that offend his ancestors?
His wife doesn't realize that she just painted him as irrational or even suicidal. If he had a premonition, he was about to die, it means he wanted it realized by following a woman and going into her house to have the police be called on him. Then not complying with the police when they tell you to get down. Attacking them giving them no other choice but to shoot him.Explains a lot, he must have been high on something, that's why he attacked the police.
It says he may have mistook the house for a Hare Krishna temple. Would that explain why he took his shoes off? He left his house to get some air. Does it explain why he'd want to go to a temple? I don't know.Sunday Times has a 4 part feature on the killing

WATCH | The exclusive story of Lindani Myeni
TimesLIVE gives you an exclusive look into the life of the former rugby player, from his humble beginnings to the fateful night he was shot dead by Hawaii policewww.timeslive.co.za
Listening to the family lawyer is confusing. He seems to be building his case around the home occupants making false reports about Lindani to the 911 call center. I don't know what he was suggesting quite honestly. It looks like Lindani was confused about where he was and hung around, but IMO that wasn't the issue. The issue is 1) the cops didn't announce themselves as police on arrival (to him) and 2) he went in gung ho to beat these two guys up that he couldn't identify... who turned out to be cops.
, show that the couple who called, who did not own the home and were guests in a guest house.. over reacted massively.
Are we still trying to blame police here? If he didn't attack them so quickly he would've gotten his answers.New footage out makes the police look pathetic. Apparently you can hear him ask to identify themselves, shots fired and then they announce it’s the police lmfao.
You didn't watch it then. He barked "who are you?" after attacking them. There was no asking. They were immediately on the back foot then and had to call for tasers followed by guns.New footage out makes the police look pathetic. They did overreact. Also the footage, from ring camera, show that the couple who called, who did not own the home and were guests in a guest house.. over reacted massively.
I'm not sure. Their biggest mistake was to not announce themselves as cops. He attacked them.Combo with police trying to block the footage and well.. as I said, with the new political climate seems people some cops gonna go to jail.
“Get on the ground, get on the ground, get on the ground now, get on the ground, get on the ground now,” says one of the police officers, before Myeni punches him in the face.
“Who are you,” shouts Myeni, as he attacks. “Who are you?”
