I made an honest attempt to get to work this morning but had to turn back.
Also without power since early hours of the morning. Phones battery about to die, Nintendo Switch battery low and cell network is almost nothing. Thank goodness my tablet has a good charge and have eBooks

I have a flight to JHB tonight at 19:50 from King Shaka to attend a Unisa practical at Florida campus tomorrow. I have no idea if I can reach the airport from Queensburgh. Looks like the major flooding is further south on the N2 but still worried

Wish it was that simple, but I'm genuinely concerned, if I have to delay the trip to Thursday I have to move my flight, car rental booking and accommodation. Flights can cost like the price of a new ticket and I'm not sure about the other two. Not made of money.
Not nearly as bad as the people losing their houses or drowning obviously, just concerning

It's proper raging. Banks Are bursting at the seams but holding on.... The water infrastructure from Ugu is getting damaged though... Likely means no water in our taps for a few days.

My fam has been without power since 8am yesterday & currently don't have water.
Apparently many people in Durban won't have water today because the infrastructure has been affected.
Btw Etekweni has run out of money to steal. So a lot of the electrical & water related issues prior to this was due to negligence & corruption.
Etekweni can't pay people to cut the grass in some areas because rate payers money has been chowed by the ANC
