People are going to get covid, people are going to get sick, people are going to die. I don't think anyone is safe from it. Chances are however, that if you get vaccinated the risk of dying reduces significantly. WTF is so difficult to understand about that?

Cause it violates mah rights!!™

Should we LOL at those who got vaccinated who died as well?
No because they at least tried to do the correct thing.

The virus is mutating all the time meaning that some vaccines will be less effective.
Also it takes a while for the vaccine to work, you could get one jab and then that week get exposed and still get really sick.

The funny thing I noticed..... worldwide vaccinated or unvacinated seems to make no difference to hospitalization.... the two sides seems to stay in proportion to how much of the population has been vaccinated.

Israel for example who have vaccinated most of their population..... 80% of hospitalizations are vaccinated

FFS, seriously dude. This is like playground stuff.

Vaccines are highly effective at preventing severe Covid-19 disease, but they don’t form a “golden shield” against contracting coronavirus.

This is why we need everyone to be vaccinated.

Right , yet a year and a half later, and there are still over 7.6 billion people unaffected by the virus globally being held hostage in some form or other under varying degrees of restrictions.

You need to compare the graphs however to get the full picture, 80% that end up in hospital have been vaccinated, but look at how low the numbers are:

Vaccines started 20th of December in Israel, say hypothetically it takes 2 weeks to get most people vaccinated.

If they don't form a "golden shield" they are not useful as vaccination.

And generally they have not yet been proven in practice to really slow down hospitalization anyway. First prove it then claim it.

To prevent overloading the medical services. We've already seen in some places like India, Brazil and Peru how a large number of sick people overwhelms the facilities and doctors have to pick and choose who lives or dies.

But yeah, it's a serious inconvenience. Maybe you could tell us what else we should be doing instead of vaccinating as many people as quickly as possible?

How are they held hostage? Isn't that like complaining that the army is everywhere while people are looting?

If there was no lockdown in place I'd be terrified to see how busy the hospitals are, we barely got in ourselves despite the efforts to reduce the stress on the hospitals.

That's your plan? Sit and wait to see how it goes?

Anyway, the point was on serious disease from Covid, not hospitalization. Being vaccinated has reduced the death rates massively. Again, what else have you got to suggest?

Well... At this rate we will soon not have to deal with these "conspiracy theorists" any longer...
I see a new one forming already... "Bill Gates is using the 5G networks to deliberately infect Anti-Vaxxers that is vocal about the evil plan to chip them with the vaccine, with a new virus, that is resistant to Ivermectin, that was created in their secret lab. This all to silence them and prevent them from spreading the truth.

And yet 80% of hospitalizations were vaccinated.... at best this still means that vaccinations are correlated to most cases since this same two weeks led to more cases than the previous wave.

From where I sit this whole thing of "vaccinations and lockdowns are proven to work" is no different to the utterances of a soothsayer commenting how something is proof that entrail examination and bird murmerations are proven to to work.

And worse, you cannot predict exactly how a future wave is going to hit.... meaning you can claim that any wave is less drastic than it would have been..... no matter how high or low it is. Completely ignoring the seasonal nature of waves.

The data is being interpreted to mean whatever someone want's it to mean rather than what it directly says.... and generally it seems that vaccination either does nothing to prevent hospitalization or even drives it to a minor degree..... it simply has not been proven to actually help.

Simply having a plan does not mean the plan actually does what it claims to..... it's modern superstition at this point.

My plan is to admit the limits of what is actually possible, not to join a obvious secular religion.

And has it REALLY reduced death rates? Or would death rates not perhaps have started going down and up anyway the way that all viruses do?
