Labour unions call for Eskom board and executives to resign

South Africa’s second-biggest labour union federation called for Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd.’s board and senior management to resign as it rejected a finding that cleared the utility’s chief operating officer of any wrongdoing.

Eskom said on Friday that internal investigations and a court judgment on a payment dispute with contractor Aveng Ltd. exonerated COO Jan Oberholzer.

Yup, their cash buddies are on the chopping block.

So good news there then. And just as well these scum-bags have no real power or influence.

I don't seem to remember these unions ever calling for the previous disastrous lot of Gupta sponsored executives and boards to ever reason. Why? Because that lot were careful to keep above inflation increases flowing into union member pockets even as they destroyed and looted the place dry.

Ag, get on with your jobs, stop whinging and be thankful you are still...barely, employable...damned indolent, arrogant communists!

Well Cyril answer to the unions so Eskom is fcked.
