During the course of my communication with WBS about Ethernet fails on IPCop / Linux I requested cancellation of service by email due to their non-responsiveness on the 16th. Following the email and posting on MyADSL the problem was resolved and then the cancellation was confirmed on the 21st. I have since the 21st enquired about continuation on the 1 GB package with monthly payment through bank transfer, but have not received a definate answer, although their banking details was sent to me as a Word attachment on a letterhead in a blank email on the 23rd.

Most of the emails have been sent to their accounts department, some technical people and Mr Parvin. My last email was sent the evening of the 28th enquiring about continuation of service and I received 2 read receipts the same evening from a technical person and Mr Parvin, but bo further response, so I'm waiting in anticipation to see what is going to happen both in terms of service (dis)continuation and debit order processing.

I thought of posting some of the emails here, but that would lead to a very long post, maybe a blog later about the episode once I know the outcome...

You actually get read receipts?!?

Wow, you must be special. :p

I've been trying to get them to change the address where they send the invoices. I've got more chance of falling pregnant I think!

Yeah, sure...
Always take my chances to try it with them, sometimes someone forgets to stop the receipt, especially when checking their mail out of the office?

Anyway, getting the receipt provides an indication that the mail has been delivered somewhere and not gone lost in the super reliable and high performance mail system

Got feedback this afternoon (once again after posting on the forum) and apparently the package and method of payment have been changed. I still have to see how it turns out however...

[Edit]
Have decided to reduce package to 1 GB and use the "savings" for 3G / Edge / GPRS when I really need connectivity when iBurst is not available, which seems to be happening fairly regularly these days...
