I have a question for all the fit guys out there.........
What are the best breathing exercises to do in order to oxygenate one's system?
I believe there is an effective way of breathing that will activate the lymphatic system.

Can anyone please help me with this? Thanx a ton!

try a jog (medium pass) and that will get your body to a fitter level as well as make the transportation of O2 in the body better. With the O2 circulating better you'll find that you get a much better complexion, and you'll have more energy during the day

You could try deep breathing exercises. Check google for a matt furey as he is a proponent of these kinds of exercises. AFAIR the idea is to breath in through your nose expanding your abdominal area and not the chest area. Holding the breath for a few seconds and breathing out forcefully through your mouth whilst forcing your tongue against your teeth.

Do what I do. Get an oxygen generator which generates almost pure oxygen from room air and take a siesta with a mask. It's the only way to get pure oxygen.

As for the lymphatic system. Get a rebounder and bounce about.

Trick is to get fit!

How do you know you suffer from a lack of oxygen? Are you talking about losing your breath easily when working out? That's a fitness issue - no breathing exercises will resolve that. But if you're talking about maximising oxygen intake and use when working out, then just take in deep breaths when not exerting yourself, and exhale fully when exerting. So breathe in on one cycle of a rep, then out fully on the other cycle of the rep. Long, deep breaths. If you start huffing and puffing, your body doesn't send the necessary oxygen to the muscles and (IIRC) the lactic acid starts to cause a burn, which in turn stops the oxygen from being absorbed even further - so it's like a vicious cycle. But get fit - it's the best thing you can do.

If you're not talking about exercise, then try meditation breathing techniques. Deep, long breaths in a relaxed environment and concentrate on the cycles of breathing with not other interruptions. Let your mind wander - if you do that once a day for half an hour it really can be beneficial...

In even an average person, the body gets as much Oxygen as it needs. When you are short of it, you breath more. The rest about the lymphatic system needing 'activating' needs some further study.

DJK, I heard that a lack of oxygen seems to play a major role in causing cells to become malignant or cancerous. And I was told that we do not breathe the proper way (too shallow), and should do deep breathing exercises at a CERTAIN ratio.
Hope my explanation makes sense?

Well lack of oxygen in the cells I presume would lead to detrimental affects, however considering that breathing is an autonomous function controlled by the brain, I highly doubt it is doing anything to our detriment. I'd be rather sceptical of anyone promoting breathing techniques to minimize cancer risks...

First, why do you need to activate your lymph system, a medical condition?

Lie on your bed and hyperventilate for an hour...

Or learn yoga where you will learn how to breath properly

Oh ****, I just saw you were asking the fit guys... sorry
