Ladies: why would you call a guy "Sweetie"?

I'm really confused

Background: I have known her since the middle of January this year.

We see each other once during the week, walk our dogs together over the weekend and chat regularly over Whatsapp. We get along really well and she's very friendly and talkative towards me.

We've never kissed or held hands. I am still trying to work out where I stand with her. She is fairly shy and introverted.

On Saturday I bumped into her in town and got a big smile from her.

A while ago I offered to look after her dogs (who are her children) for a few days while she goes away on business. Yesterday morning, she arrived to drop them off and when leaving, says to me "Okay - bye Sweetie" with a long hug.

Ladies, what gives here? Is this a bit of interest or what?

Any advice would be appreciated :wtf:

Sounds like she wants dat dere D OP.

Offer to take her out to dinner when she gets back from her business trip, and see if the sparks start a-flyin.

If she says it to other people too then it means nothing. Some people say sweetie all the time.
If you're the only one, it might mean something. Might.

She wants you.... badly! Report back when she get her dogs back and what her gratitude was. then you know for sure! She is trusting you with her most loved possesions, if you do good then don't dely as her out, if you dely more you'll become just friends!

Oh you friendzoned. Sweetie is used so you know where you stand. if you stood a chance she wouldn't let you look after her dogs and find another "sweetie".

Greg: "Yo! Sugar Tits! What say you and me hit Montagu on Monday"
Sugar Tits: "But what about my dogs?"
Greg: "Just tell that weirdo who stalks you on the weekend to watch the dogs. Hug him, call him sweetie, ????, profit"

...Dude - before you get too involved or read too much, ask her out. When she returns, make a move. Don't become the babysitter. Worst that can happen is she stops calling you sweetie.
