Am I missing something? How is this racist? If that video is racist, then half the comedians on YouTube are racist.

Looks like OP has lost interest in this thread, we are on our own.

Meanwhile in WWE they're body slamming chicks and minorities

WWE used to be much less politically correct during its heyday in the late 90's and early 2000's. It started to tone down around the time John Cena became the face of the company (around 2005) when they turned him from a rapper to a super-hero type character and moved the age restriction down to 10.

Why does it play on sport channels?

It can pass off as sport on a technicality. There are also many Journalists who cover it seriously. I've even seen it on the backpage of a few South African newspapers.

I always wondered. Much of what I've seen appeared scripted, which made me conclude it's a form of arts. That they have sculpured bodies was immaterial (ballet dancers have sculptured bodies as well). So, I don't know. Never really saw it as sport for that reason but I'm not the one making decisions.

Of course I don't belittle those who love the "sport".

Uhhh... Isnt this similar or at least within he same field as many other TikTok dubovers, popular on the platform.

There's one of a lady with voices of Zulu men & her doing classic expressions and impressions of them.

While insensitive perhaps to the plight of many coloured people, I don't think this at all stands at the same level of a lot we've seen in this country.

So what are the rules now: If not you're of a specific race you can't make fun of any of the stereotypes of that race, unless you are recognised as a comedian?

It's a slap in the face of those who have been subject to real racism for this to be the new standard.

I've spoken to a few wrestlers in the past and they get really upset by comments that "wrestling is fake". Their argument is that while the results are pre-planned, the knocks and blows which they take from the slams are real. The wrestling bodies usually also have a criteria to determine who gets to become champion based on popularity among the fans etc.

Ok mate. My opinion was solely about the variety managed by WWE.
