Sign up with GoogleI inserted this pre manufactured lan cable into my laptop today, it refuse to come out, any ideas please. It is suppose to be a high quality one . I am afraid to broke the port on the laptop. First time I use it in this laptop, doing it everyday with other cables.

Does the port have a small flap you need to lift?
Have you tried a thin flat piece of hard plastic between the connector tab on the plug and the port?
Is the laptop a Dell by any chance?

rj45 connector, I thing it was made to insert once's.
Will use the thin device tommorrow.

Had that before on a laptop. What worked for me:
Press down tab thing, push the connector into the port before pulling out.
It somehow un-wedged it.

This proven method is a very, very easy and effective solution.
