My Pioneer DVD-RW died today on my ACER laptop. It had been struggling to read disks for some time and finally stopped altogether.
Do I replace the darned thing or buy an external one? The laptop is getting old now (few years), but it still does the job.
I'm just wondering if ACER service would put in a modern DVD-RW or the same old one?
