Laptop makers are reportedly shifting production from China

HP Inc. and Dell Technologies Inc. plan to move as much as 30% of their notebook production away from China, the Nikkei cited anonymous sources as saying, as global technology giants try to avoid escalating tariffs on U.S.-bound goods.

Microsoft Corp., Inc., Sony Corp. and Nintendo Co. are also looking to move some of their game console and smart speaker manufacturing away from the country, the Nikkei Asian Review cited those sources as saying. [Bloomberg]

Whew - such a waste of money because of one mans fragile ego.

I wonder what the cost implications of this are, who fits the bill this time ?

I know lots of smaller US companies have lost contracts or absorbed costs of Trumps decision, but you have to listen to the guy regardless of the negative situations it may put people in
