No, my 8ta mobile is a blessing!

Spent 45 minutes on the line with Dstv yesterday to swop a newer decoder with an older one.....all the free landline minutes came in very handy.

Also had to phone SANTAM earlier in the week....once again, 8ta free minutes to the rescue.

Don't wanna go with a landline and ADSL, as I might be moving again and then it's wires to unplug....no thanks.

The way I read it your contract will not stay on 199 per month. At the end of the contract you will be converted to one of their data deals. Not including this one.

I'm going to take out 2 contracts now, one for me and one for SO. for R200 a month it's worth having in case we need it.

Why don't you rather get two 60GB+60GB prepaid 8ta sims? It's R1800 a pop and you can use it up over a year.

Yup, cash flow it a bitch, but you get 60GB "normal" data + 60GB nightsurfer (between 11 pm and 5 am).

Definitely the best deal in SA for anyone who has the cash and 8ta reception.

60 gig for R1800 isn't such a good deal. The 10 gig promo works out cheaper and it suits our needs better. 60 gig on the promo is 6 months, R1200.

Yeah, but you have a whole year to use up the 60GB, whereas on the promo, if you don't use it, it just disappears at the end of the month.

Which can also be cancelled should something better come along with minimal penalties (something like 1 month)... While you've already paid your 1800 so can't benefit until you've used it all up...

Got exactly the same now from the 8ta shop at Tyger Valley Shopping Centre.

If you currently have the 10GB promo, you basically have it forever, unless you want to cancel it.
