Sunday Times had TelkomMobile adverts, but did not find LTE 'obscene' GB offers :)

I got a call this morning from 8ta, advising me that my 24 months contract period was up and that I had to renew. I have the 10+10 promotion, and I've found it's great value for money and a great replacement for ADSL. (I have had speed issues recently, but that's another conversation.)

Anyway, so if I want to stay on this 10+10 package, I have to take my ID into a Telkom shop, and pay R100 to have my contract renewed. How retarded is that?! Is that even legal?

Got a call as well this morning - lady did mention that you can let it run month to month and pay the exisitng R199 - which seems like a decent idea. I am waiting for the LTE deals...

When mine expires that is what I plan to do, keep it on a month to month basis until a better deal comes along
