Got an email from them saying my installation has been booked and a reference number. ???
Reply to them went unanswered, their phones go to a full mailbox ! Website is useless.

Anyone know what they do ??????

I have little or no reception at home and have been writing to MTN for months about it .

Should I let them into my house ?????

phones go to full mailbox? WHO the **** are you talking about boet? phone 808 and quote the reference number and STOP POSTING ON FORUMS WHERE YOU WONT GET MUCH HELP GEEZ!

Came today. Fitted in a japtrap with full reception throughout my property.

Do it - it's worth the effort.

Last mile guys are fine, they just arrive at a different time to what u make the appointment
They installed a poynting window mounted anntena and this improved my signal from 77-83dBm range to 63-65 range - just a mission with blinds! It made a big improvement, at least until MTN's network started falling over in midrand the last couple of days. Can't autheniticate. Then can but speeds are awful erratic... to no speed.

Last mile = OK
Poynting aerial = Good, does what it claims. Nicely made as well.
MTN = very very slack. Four very long phonecalls. No feedback from "co-ordinator". Then tried to blame last mile but after I pushed them, it turns out to be actually the MTN admin person left MTN without issuing the order to lastmile.
