Good morning to you all.
Need to understand some more on this subject.
If I do a regular speed test, downloads vary a lot. The ping latency varies also a lot, meaning local.
Using different speed test give different results.
Using speed test from myboradband , Speed.net and Saix.net. I'm not suppyling speed test results.
I want to get a better understanding first on the local front.
Could it be Telkom <===> ISP hiccup. Could become messy who do you blame.
For this exercise I prepared a tracert table:
I also took the liberty to show were ever hop is going to with destinations.
Who owns what in this pie. As said previously Telkom <====> ISP.
Some times we talk congestion, from the information supplied I can see fair low latencies. (ms)
If information or technical terms are incorrectly put forward please feel free and correct.
I see a lot of complains but sometimes the information terms supplied is above normal understanding.
Not all of us are IT specialist.
