Unfortunately Multichoice is no better than Telkom. But just the thought of Telkom squirming and squealing makes me happy. Oh the sweet irony.

Thought so.

Yep - even the president has shifted his focus to MTN lately... one wonders if someon is going to bail out of the Telkom protection scheme some time in the near future... and it will become open season on Telkom.

I doubt that many forumites will get caught in the sticky TelkodemonopoliesMedia IPTV web, but just look at how many people have TelkodemonopoliesHindernet as their ISP instead of supporting the considerably smaller competitor ISPs - even if they are resellers.

IMO MonoChoice is less of a threat to TelkodemonopoliesMedia's IPTV aspirations than Telkodemonopolies itself is: without ADSL2+ available to large numbers of consumers, there can be no IPTV for TelkodemonopoliesMedia, and that I find extremely ironic and worthy of a good ROFL in Telkodemonopolies' direction :D.

Sadly I have to agree, DSTV is a non-essential item, whereas telecoms is a daily essential that no one can live without and should be available at an affordable price, but is not.

Bored of this site

Its sad to say, but there was a time that I checked this site at least 5 times a day in eager anticipation of a new fresh article about some wonderful new product or breaking news about the internet and what we could expect in the 'not always to near' future.

This along with many recent articles are poor quality stories that is scraping the barrel...... flogging the proverbial dead horse. If you cant find any decent content, let this site fade into obscurity. :(

Strange you seem a bit too cheesed off about this site especially considering that there is no membership fee.

Do you have any suggestions of wonderful products or breaking news you want this site to publish? Do you want MYADSL to make up stuff to keep you entertained?

It sometimes pays to be at the righthand of the devil instead of in his path, particularly in a market where the current trend is the absorption and/or dismantling of smaller competitors by the bigger fish.

It's nice to see to conglomerates taking each other on, and ironic at the same time as both [currently] offer a inferior product at a premium price. Their challenges on eachother inevitably will allow the customer to reap the benefits

However, gawd help us if they realise neither can win...and decide to combine forces...
