It should as I understand it..
It's like you have a 100Mbps network card but you're plugged into a 10Mbps network.. - you'll be limited to 10Mbps .. but now they come and throw out the old 10Mbps switch and stick in a new 100Mbps one.. and presto you're working at 100Mbps..
The Huawei E220 also supports 3.6 Mbps, so as soon as MTN upgrades their towers I too will be expierincing 3.6Mbps (theoretically)
