So my friend posted this comment to Cricinfo:

Matt: "I've been doing some research on what previous Legends have scored in their final Tests before retirement. Makes for interesting reading... Dravid: 1 & 25 Sachin: 74 Hussey: 25 & 27* Ponting: 4 & 8 Kirsten: 1 & 76 Lara: 0 & 49 Hayden: 31 & 39 Bradman: 0 Border: 17 & 42* S Waugh: 40 & 80 Gavaskar: 21 & 96 Miandad: 31 Viv Richards: 2 & 60 Sobers: 0 & 20 Apologies if I missed any "Legends". Not one has scored a hundred in his final Test, can Kallis be the first?

Neither did he retire from tests at the end of a long career...same with Pollock.

Gary Kirsten is not a 'legend'...whatever the definition, i.e. not seen in same class as Lara, Tendulkar etc

BTW...where did the 'friend' get the stats from..I see no references, was he the scorekeeper? Tongue in cheek, but he has done some copy paste from 'stats guru' and they have done it to him.
