Hey all,

It looks like I might be getting a 360 after all, but I'd like to be able to enjoy the games in HD without spending upwards of 10k on a HDTV. This leaves the option of a large (20" or so) PC monitor.

a) What do I need to look out for besides low response times (brightness etc)?
b) What inputs are required?
c) Does a 20" widescreen LCD offer a better viewing area than a 20" 'standard' shape LCD? If the screen size is measured diagonally then surely a widescreen 20" is actually wider than a normal 20"?
d) Is it worth considering a CRT monitor?

I'm looking at this: http://www.digitalplanet.co.za/shop/product.asp?StockID=88886

or this

The Benq is 1" bigger but a grand more... is it worth it?

I have a WS 19" LCD with a DVI and Analogue input which is 5ms GTG.

Got it with my X360 in mind. Its better to have a widescreen LCD coz then you dont get the black borders when you play most of the X360 games. Titles like Oblivion will stretch the image to fill a 4:3 or 5:4 screen, but not all games do that.

AFAIK most LCD PC screens are 16:10 and only LCD TVs are 16:9.
