LCD Monitor Suggestions

Don't know the LG LCDs that well but they should be ok. What are you using it for business or gaming?

Other than response time, which by the way doesn't say much since there isn't a universal standard so every brand uses their own, the only thing that can make a difference in buying is ergonomics. Like menu options, looks and tilt adjustment.

Its for gaming & I've seen no difference in response time between a 12ms to a 5ms so it doesnt seem like much of an issue

S1ght you must play a First person shooter on a 4ms vs a 12ms, there def is a diffrence. Also make sure that the map you play has bright colors.

I can tell you one thing - the LG is DAMN sexy. Worked on the 17" 1780QU version - same design..very solid monitor.

I have, my 1 friend has a Samsung 5ms & my other a BenQ 12 ms, I've played Quake4,Cs Source & Unreal Tournament 2004 & didn't find any difference

U have friends??? oh u said 1 ;).

True some people take it as from Grey to grey... some black to black...so no way to compare.

Anyway go for a brand name.
