becuse it seems to have been done with some thought given to it, but I could be very wrong here.

It is basically guaranteed the moment they weaken property rights. You really think the ANC is going to be as thoughtful as they are claiming when they gain more state power? You know the same ANC that has captured just about every public institution in the country.

so do you think the ANC is trying to be like the communist party? and wants to own all property and big buisnesses?
in other words a Venezuela type situation.

That is their ideological foundation. That land tenants thing is basically a statement saying the workers need to own the means of production.

The moment the constitution is changed to allow expropriation without compensation, the decline will start. No matter how their word their laws or constitution. The mere fact that any investor could, at some point in time, stand the chance of losing land or property without compensation, is a risk too big to take. Anything else happening around this is mere academic.
